Valley of Flowers National Park is a National Park which is located high in the Western Himalayas in India. In the earlier times, the grand Valley of Flowers was also known as the Bhyundar Valley. This Grand National Park lies in the upper hemisphere of the Bhyundar Ganga which lies near the Joshimath in the Garhwal region. This Grand National Park is also a home to a large number of endangered species.
Snow Leopard, Blue Sheep, Brown Bear and Asiatic Black Bear are majorly found in this National Park.

The Valley of Flower National Park covers the major transition zone between the Great Himalayas and the grand Zanskar mountain ranges. This national park encloses an area of about 87.50 square kilometers. This valley has greatly been acknowledged by a large number of mountaineers and botanists in the earlier times. The Valley of Flowers was declared as national park in the year 1982 and later on, this valley was declared as a world heritage site.

This grand and exotic valley is splashed with various colors. This valley contains different types of flowers which are comprised up of different and unique shades. The beautiful and shinning peaks which are completely covered with snow are the major attractions for the tourists of this Grand National Park. You can also enjoy the beautiful and spectacular greenery which surrounds this valley from all the directions. This stunning valley of flowers also contains several running streams which contains crystal clear water. You can easily find different varieties of flowers in this valley out of which Cobra Lily, Blue Poppy and Brahmakamal is the main attraction for the visitors.

This national park does not contain any kind of settlement and grazing is also prohibited in this park.  The best time to visit this national park is the summer season. During the winters, the whole of the park us covered with huge amount of snow.
